EDTA salts are the ionic forms of EDTA, which are commonly used in a variety of applications including as chelating agents, sequestrants, and stabilizers in various industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.The most common EDTA salts are disodium EDTA (Na2EDTA) and calcium disodium EDTA (CaNa2EDTA). Disodium EDTA is a white, crystalline powder that is soluble in water, while calcium disodium EDTA is a white, odorless powder that is also soluble in water. Other EDTA salts include tetrasodium EDTA, which is often used in soaps and detergents, and trisodium EDTA, which is used in some personal care products
